HOBART/TASMANIA (Wednesday/21st February/2024): Surfing Tasmania is pleased to welcome Sea FM Burnie as the presenting partner for our iconic 2024 West Coast Classic event being held over the Easter long weekend at Marrawah.
Sea FM Burnie (101.7) are Tasmania’s North West leading radio station and are long term supporters of community and sport across the region. Sea FM are committed to their mission statement “Leaders in Local” by creating major scale events for the community, and investing in others, to ensure the best opportunities for Tasmanians.
This is the West Coast Classic’s 49th year, and it is recognised as one of Australia’s longest running surfing events. Surfing Tasmania are super excited about this year’s event as it will again bring our States best surfers to the West Coast in pursuit of championship points.
