CLIFTON BEACH/TASMANIA (Wednesday,16th November/2022): Round one in a new and exciting season of the Woolworths Tasmanian Junior Surfing Titles series gets underway this weekend in the South East region.
The state’s best young surfers from under 14’s through under 18’s will be keen to show off their skills in the first of four Woolworths Tasmania State Junior Titles events, with getting a good start key to determining overall rankings.
Surfing Tasmania Events manager Luke Johannesen says getting off to that fast start in the series from event one will relieve the pressure to perform when it comes to crunch time in the final few rounds.
“If you can get away to a good start this weekend, I think it’s going to allow you the freedom to really surf without restriction in the last few rounds. We look forward to crowning State Junior Champions across all the divisions and can’t wait to see some great surfing throughout the four events,” said Johannesen.
